Stay Hydrated and Stay Safe During Hot Weather
Hot weather can make your body lose a lot of water and important minerals through sweating. If you don't replace them, you may become dehydrated or even suffer from heat exhaustion. The good news is that staying hydrated is simple and can help you stay healthy during the summer.
Drink Plenty of Water
Water is the best way to keep your body hydrated. Try to drink 8 to 10 glasses of water every day. If you spend a lot of time outdoors or exercise, you should drink even more. Instead of drinking a lot of water at once, take small sips throughout the day to keep your body hydrated.
Eat Foods That Contain Water
Some fruits and vegetables are full of water and can help keep you hydrated. They also provide vitamins and minerals that help your body stay healthy.
Some great choices include:
- Watermelon

- Strawberries
These foods not only replace lost fluids but also help you feel refreshed.
Limit Caffeine
