In a strategic move to enhance public healthcare and combat the rising threat of dengue fever, the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) has partnered with the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Administration. This joint initiative aims to proactively address the spread of dengue in the federal capital of Pakistan through community engagement and preventive measures.
The collaborative effort was formalized during an official visit to the ICCI headquarters by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) East Mehreen Baloch, District Health Officer Dr. Syeda Rashida Batool, and Dengue Focal Persons Dr. Mazhar and Dr. Sultan. The delegation met with ICCI President Nasir Mansoor Qureshi to discuss an integrated approach to dengue prevention and healthcare improvement.

Focus on Awareness and Action
Key discussions centered on launching wide-scale public awareness campaigns and organizing anti-dengue spraying drives across major commercial zones of Islamabad. Both parties emphasized the importance of proactive community participation in programs like this ensuring effective dengue control in Pakistan.
